MAD, for Multiple Art Days, the young Parisian fair that is moving up. After three successful first editions at the Maison Rouge, MAD settles in the heart of Paris in the sumptuous renovated buildings of the Monnaie de Paris, on 900m².

  • An unmissable event:
80% of the most innovative works of art are not visible in galleries or museums. MAD brings together more than 4,000 works produced by artists from the most renowned to the youngest, who have always experimented with this multiple form to leave institutions and galleries and disseminate their works more widely
.Already in the Middle Ages, engraving was the only means of disseminating original works, at a time when travel was dangerous and expensive. Today more than ever, artists use the latest technologies as an experimental field and invent new circuits for the diffusion of their art. published, multiple, distributed works (prints, films, artists’ books, records, archives) form a parallel art history, a world that is invented together with artists, curators and publishers. and MAD offers for three days a complete panorama to discover, understand, meet the actors of the experimental, dynamic and irresistible field of contemporary art. In the presence of artists, curators, publishers, researchers!MAD is, in this sense, a new innovative circuit of diffusion of art.

  • The 2018 edition:
More than a hundred international publishers chosen for their demanding proposals will present thousands of works published on the fringe of the conventional art market: a panorama of contemporary multiple creation, from fanzine publishing to rare works (prints, books, films, artists’ records…) under the artistic direction of Sylvie Boulanger, director of cneai= and Michael Woolworth, director of the Michael Woolworth Workshop and of the scientific committee gathered around MAD.
In partnership with the Royal Norwegian Embassy:
In recent years, there has been a very dynamic development of art publishing in Norway that MAD will promote under the curatorial direction of Nordic Art Press (NAP) and Torpedo Press. Through the
invitation of 6 publishers, 2 artists and a panel of works, the Norwegian stand will emphasize the quality, diversity and originality of the Norwegian publishing field marked by a new generation of artists who use the book to develop and experiment new artistic practices, often interdisciplinary and mixing art and literature
