In the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, a hybrid war combines open armed conflict with crimes and ransacking by separatist gangs. In Donbass, war is called peace, propaganda is set up as truth and hatred claims to be love. A journey through the Donbass is a series of crazy adventures, in which the grotesque and the tragic mingle like life and death. It is not a tale about a region, a country or a political system but about a world lost in post-truth and false identities. This concerns all of us.
