One of the highlights of this week’s FIAC event is taking place in the elegant futuristic Rem Koolhas building of the Galeries Lafayette group foundation, the Simon Fujiwara exhibition, the artist’s first monograph in France. Since the beginning of her work, the artist has focused on the mechanisms at work in the face of the fetishization of our relationship with images.

Created in October 2013, Lafayette Anticipations – Galeries Lafayette Corporate Foundation opened its doors in March 2018 in the heart of the Marais district of Paris.

Chaired by Guillaume Houzé, Director of Image and Communication at Galeries Lafayette and BHV MARAIS, and by Mrs Ginette Moulin, who is Honorary President, this new institution recognizes the unique ability of all creators to anticipate and participate in societal changes. The Foundation is a place of creation, production and exhibition of the most up-to-date forms of expression, from the plastic arts to fashion, from design to the living arts.
