Every year in spring, VERSANT EST offers you the Weekend of Contemporary Art in more than sixty contemporary art venues.
A wealth of artistic proposals: exhibitions, meetings, workshops, concerts, performances, screenings… so many unique events that punctuate Alsatian cultural life on the third weekend of March.

For this new edition, the Week-end of Contemporary Art Grand Est is being renewed and dressed with a communication that is also becoming an artistic space to invest. This year, we are pleased to let you discover the carte blanche offered to the artist Delphine Gatinois!

On this occasion, the Centre d’art la Synagogue de Delme celebrates its 25th anniversary around twenty artists who have exhibited in Delme as well as artists hosted in residence in Lindre-Basse, an integral part of the art centre’s missions since 2002.
the exhibition embraces the diversity of practices, gestures and stories, and reflects the artistic and intellectual vitality that has made the heart of the Delme synagogue beat faster for a quarter century.
The exhibition is called “Assembly” because it is about what has made the Delme synagogue such a natural place since its beginnings: a gathering place, an agora, a space for shared words and debates, a polyphonic place that crosses singularities.
Finally, the Assembly reflects the institution’s benevolence towards its audiences and artists, for whom the art centre remains a house of thought, action and freedom.
Voices, spirits, alterations of consciousness, paths of passage, sinuous lines, the exhibition refers to other ways of looking and perceiving.
In parallel with the exhibition, the art centre offers a programme of artists’ films at the Gue(ho)st House, on Saturdays from 2pm to 6pm and on Sundays from 11am to 6pm.

With: Eva Barto, Eric Baudelaire, Berdaguer & Péjus, Katinka Bock, Mathieu Copeland, Delphine Coindet, Colouring Tour, Marie Cool Fabio Balducci, Edith Dekyndt, Yona Friedman, Dominique Gilliot, Christian Hidaka, Violaine Lochu, Chloé Maillet & Louise Hervé, Etienne Pressager, Julien Prévieux, Rometti Costales, Clément Rodzielski, Eva Taulois, Capucine Vandebrouck
