“Rumeurs et Légendes” at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris

#PARIS The Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is offering a new display of its collections on the occasion of new major donations and in response to the retrospective devoted to the American artist Thomas Houseago. “Rumours and Legends” treats the plays as works confronted with political, social or aesthetic current events in dialogue with the author’s personal history. From Boltanski to Arroyo, and from Boltanski to Arroyo, a new generation of artists are seizing the codes of social networks to shake up the circulation of images and new narrative modes. In reaction to its turbulence, which generates a change in the scale of perception, giving our intimacy a global dimension, all question our confrontation/understanding of reality and play a role as accelerators of legends.
