Head to head at the Museum of Man
#PARIS Throughout the summer, as part of the permanent tour of the Musée de l’Homme, you will have the pleasant surprise of discovering “En tête à tête”, an ephemeral installation that combines modern and contemporary artworks. This artistic breath in the Galerie de l’Homme questions identity, and refers us to existential questions that act as a guiding thread of the exhibition around the notion of emptiness that sometimes expresses itself in the depths of each of us.
Around 3 questions that punctuate the journey, who are we? Where are we going? Where do we come from? The installation invites us to explore the contours of the human being. Fun and educational experiences punctuate our discovery, a real asset for a family visit. The spectacular 2500 m2 gallery opens onto the Seine and offers an exceptional view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
Between anthropological introspection, psychological reflection, art and science, the exhibition patiently but surely invites us to question ourselves on the future of our species, on Man’s perspective on climate change, because for the first time in our history, we are confronted with the compatibility of our lifestyles and development, with our survival. Thus, what we have made escapes us, then transforms us in return. And the big question is perhaps much simpler: are we already living on a freewheel?
